Message From The Principal

Thank you for visiting our website.  I am delighted to welcome you to Paddington Academy.  We are a vibrant and thriving 11 -18, non selective academy in West London where everyone, both staff and students strive to be the best that they can be.  Our motto as part of the ULT family of academies is 'the best in everyone'. 

We are proud to be a multi cultural, multi faith learning community where the language we all speak is 'good learning'. Paddington students enjoy their school lives. Every decision is made in the best interests of the student or to improve their learning.

We are very lucky because we have a beautiful new building and great facilities.  The facilities for our four specialisms of Performing Arts, Media, Business and Social Enterprise are the best in the area.  We have highly successful Maths, English and Science departments in addition to which the students receive a fantastic range of subjects - for example hair dressing, plumbing and engineering are just some of the latest additions.

It is our aim that all students leave us with the skills and attributes required to be lifelong learners and positive role models in their community and globally.

Every student at Paddington Academy is special and each an individual with individual needs.  As a result, each deserves and gets an individual learning diet and pastoral care that suits them best.  We are constantly improving and listen to the student voice.  When we can do more, the students let us know and we address the issues.

The staff and students are proud of our academy and its achievements and welcome visitors. Our most recent achievements in 2009 were ‘most improved academy nationally for GCSE results’ and ‘in the top 10 schools nationally for best value added results’.
