Paddington Academy Uniform


Students in Years 7 – 11 are expected to wear uniform. An unexplained lack of uniform may result in a student being sent home to change. The Academy uniform has been designed to be neat, hard wearing and as economical as possible. All children are expected to take pride in themselves and their academy.

Plain navy blue blazer	Plain navy blue blazer	Students in the Sixth form are expected to behave in a professional way and are expected to wear smart business like dress as defined below:

Sensible polishable plain black leather shoes with plain laces and black soles	Sensible polishable black shoes (not trainers or boots) with plain laces and black soles	Smart jumper/cardigan/top
Outdoor coats should be appropriate in style for school use	Hair bands – navy blue or black

	Girls are not required to wear a tie.

Additional notes on Uniform All these items with exception of the school tie can be purchased from the main street suppliers including Marks and Spencer, Asda, Tesco, BHS and Matalan. The school tie will be available for purchase directly from the academy The school has a limited supply of Paddington Academy PE Kit available directly for purchase from the academy.
Headscarves may be worn for religious reasons and should be plain navy blue or black. We do not permit hoodies, baseball caps and these will be confiscated if found in the academy. Outdoor coats should be appropriate for school. Jewellery is not permitted except watches. Jeans, corduroy skirts or trousers are not allowed. If there is any doubt please contact the academy before purchasing an item of clothing.
