Key Stage 4
Subject Homeworks
As well as helping our students to succeed in their KS4 and KS5 courses, we believe that students should be prepared for the challenges of their future lives. Homework helps students to develop key independent learning skills, such as time management, prioritisation and resilience. It is expected that students will receive regular homework from each of their subject teachers, in addition to any revision work that may need to take place for exams. Students in Years 10/11 should be completing around 1½ to 2 hours homework a night. Homework should be recorded in planners, with parents helping to check and sign these planners once a week.
