 PADDINGTON ACADEMY JOINS THE BBC NEWS SCHOOL REPORT
On 11th March 2010, students at Paddington Academy will produce a news programme for the nationwide BBC School Report Project for the fourth year running. The annual project teaches students how to become journalists and they learn specific skills for:
• Finding news
• Gathering news
• Writing news
• Assembling news
• Ordering news
•Broadcasting news.
This year we have a large group of Year 8 students participating in this exciting and challenging project and have already begun researching for new and interesting stories. Watch this space for work we will be producing over the forthcoming weeks.
